Our Mission & Vision

Work Life Entertainment is working to become the foremost creative production company in the Midwest by producing quality entertainment in film, television, music, books and stage performance by providing a creative outlet and lasting form of expression for talented individuals, and by establishing creative employment opportunities in all aspects of the entertainment industry.

There are many miles between Tinsel Town and Motown but two enterprising gentlemen have found a way to blend some Hollywood glitz and glamour with Detroit’s grit and gumption.

Detroit natives Keith Robinson and James McKinney formed Work Life Entertainment as a production company geared toward providing fellow Detroiters the opportunity to use their creative resources in front of the cameras and behind the scenes in the world of film making. “7 Dayz on 7 Mile is the novel adapted from their original screenplay.

These gentlemen also took the message of the book to heart by affiliating with the National Bone Marrow Registry and sponsoring two successful bone marrow donation drives.

With relatable characters, compelling theme and action, as well as an important message, “7 Dayz On 7 Mile” should attract a culturally diverse, all-age audience of book readers.
